The Oscars

From time to time, we have held special Oscars Edition SNDCs, in the evening instead of midday. Sunday is the Oscars. Also, Brian and Mike have a board meeting midday.
So what if we had an evening Oscars-y SNDC this Sunday at 5 pm? It’s been a while since Brian and Lena hosted. If we did something here on 65th, would anyone be interested? Would anyone else prefer to host?

That’s fine…I’ll be at a meeting til 5pm, but will be home soon thereafter. Would people be okay with potlucking it?

Potluck sounds fine to me, obviously. I’d sort of like to repeat the Great Fondue Oscars Night of 2007.

I too am cool with an Oscars potluck. There was a Great Fondue Oscars Night? We could have fondue again? Awesome!

Hmm. We have an issue. In that we can’t actually pick up ABC on our television.
I probably should have checked this. El, do you guys have a television that can do this?

I tinkered with it some more this morning and managed to get slightly choppy reception. To get channel 2, just tune your digital antenna to channel 43! (Of course.)

We do get ABC, but our television tends to blur out when there’s a lot of color and wide pans onscreen–which would probably include most of the Awards…
