Picnic at Waterfront Park

Ben’s under the weather today, so he and Courtney can’t host as planned. Roy suggests doing a picnic instead in conjunction with a “flower watching” (?) event he’s attending. It’s sweater weather (53 high) but this sounds great to me. It’s at the Japanese memorial on Waterfront Park, just south of the Steel Bridge.
I can bring bread, mustard, red onion, lettuce, pickles, knife, cutting board and cheddar. A few other fixings, fruit and chips would probably do it. And anything you like to drink, which we’ll do to Ben’s recovery.

Nice find on the pic! I’ll bring potato chips. I’ll try to bring drinks, too. BTW, the event starts at noon.

Cool! I, too, cannot wait to find out what flower watching is! I can bring vegenaise and oranges, hopefully some napkins too…

Usually it’s drinkin’ and barbecuin’/picnicin’ in the park during cherry blossom season (in ye olden days it was followed by boinkin’.) But there can be neither boinkin’ nor open beverage containerin’ in these here US parks, so it’ll be mostly just picnicin’, I think.
