Fresh Pesto July 3rd

Hey all, I’ll get some fresh basil from the farmer’s market and we can do pesto plus pasta. I think since Dan probably won’t make it due to his busy schedule, we’ll be safe to include Parmesan. If not or you are anti-pasta for some reason, please let me know in the comments. I’ll see if there are some squash or something similar that would make a good addition to the pasta and also keep an eye out for salad fixings.

    The little yellow patty-pan squash might be in…otherwise the yellow crooknecks will work, too. The smaller the better.

    I usually use Mark Bittman’s recipe, btw, rather than Joy of Cooking. But, you know, since I’m only like, 2,000 miles away, I guess it doesn’t really matter what you do. :)
